Active Cherubs

Cecile, the proprietor, has six nieces & nephews, not to mention six god children and over five years experience working as a professional nanny. She has many satisfiying years of professional and informal experience in looking after children! For her, looking after children is not a job, it's a lifestyle, hence her descent into the childcare industry.

She is OFSTED registered, has undergone an enhanced CRB check, is a member of the National Childminding Association (NCMA) & hold's full Public Liability Insurance. She has her own vehicle, fully insured for business use and fitted with appropriate child car seats.

Currently, Cecile's pursuing a second degree by distance learning in Early Childhood Studies. She has completed accredited courses in first aid, Introduction to Home Based Childcare Practice, makaton, food hygiene, health & safety. Also she holds certificates in Child Protection, working with parents, managing children’s behaviour, gender inclusion & focus on disability.

Cecile believes in selecting only the very best candidates who can match her work ethic and best deliver her ethos; that all children, regardless of ability, can ‘achieve through play’.
